After I had posted my previous blog message about the obvious signs of the rapid decline of the US, and the demise of its Constitution; I was reminded of another famous quote by John Adams, seen in the above image (copied from here; click on the image to enlarge). John Adams (1734-1826) was one of the Founding Fathers of America, one of the framers of the Constitution. He was also a signatory of the Declaration of Independence; and also the second President of the United States, following George Washington. Here is a longer quote of what he said:
“… because we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” (John Adams, 11 October, 1798) Link
That was said nearly 200 years ago; and the prophecy is now being fulfilled. There are too many intelligent people in the US who are now recognizing this. I had shown one interesting video relating to the subject in my previous post; here is one more:
